For a Better Diagnoses

The Radiology Department at Glen Rose Medical Center strives to provide exceptional care to all patients in the most expedient and professional manner possible.  Radiology is an important tool utilized by physicians in diagnosing and developing treatment options for their patients. Several different modalities are used to acquire images of the body providing referring physicians and our board certified radiologists the information necessary to diagnose and treat patients.  We provide a wide range of imaging services.
•       Diagnostic Radiography (X-ray)
•       Fluoroscopy
•       Computed Tomography (CT) including Angiography (CTA)
•       Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
•       Ultrasound
•       3D Mammography with Computer Aided Detection (CAD)
•       Nuclear Medicine
•       Bone Densitometry/ Body Mass Index
The Radiology Department at Glen Rose Medical Center serves our community as well as surrounding communities with highly trained staff, advanced technologies, and excellent customer service.
Glen Rose Medical Center was the first hospital in the area to invest in electronic data storage with its Radiology PACS system.  Our PACS system provides instant transfer of patient image data throughout the hospital and is available to referring physicians in their offices.  Images can be printed on film or transferred onto a CD upon physician or patient request.
Our board certified radiologists analyze our images and fax a signed report to referring physicians, in most cases, within 24 hours.
