Patient Satisfaction is a top priority at Glen Rose Medical Center and we pride ourselves in striving to make every patient a priority. Patient satisfaction is calculated by HCAHPS scores (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems). The survey was developed by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and are mailed from Press Ganey, an outside agency, which supports healthcare providers in understanding and improving the entire patient experience.

Surveys are mailed to everyone 18 years old and older that were admitted to an inpatient hospital stay. Medicare has recently added a star rating system to summarize results of the HCAHPS scores making it easier to use information and spotlight excellence in healthcare quality.
